Course Session
- Language for Life Course Session A (24 hours) Schedule:
» 2hrs per day, 3 days a week for 4 Weeks
- Course Structure (20 Students Capacity Session B (24 hours)
» 75% Language and Communication Skills:
•Introduction to the Language (9 hours/ one professor)
• Grammatical
• Conversational Group Labs (9 hours/ two professors)
• Small Groups of 10:1 or less
• Covering New Words
• Reading Comprehension
• Roll Play/Group Conversation
- 25% Cultural Familiarization (6 hours/one professor)
» Understanding community and way of life
» Field Training Exercises
» Cultural Do’s and Don’ts
» Community Traditions
- Language for Life Course Session B (24 hours) Schedule
» 2hrs per day, 3 days a week for 4 Week
To complete the full 48 hrs Spanish for Life Course students that complete Session A will continue with Session B. This session consist of the same training structure as part A, but will give the students a more in dept comprehension and practical application of the daily use of the Spanish Language, thus preparing the student to communicate in their daily life in South Florida
